This deep image of the Pleiades is the combination of 6 images. A combination of B&W and color film and digital images with two different instruments. The digital processing steps were too complex and lengthy to mention here. On the side are the sub images which make up the final image. From the top; 2 images each of 2 sections registered and mosaiced togeather combined with a TechPan image and finally combined with a digital camera image which itself was a blend of 8 images.
