This is the portion of the Veil Nebula in Cygnus that is situated around 52 Cygni.  It is sometimes referred to as the "Witch's Broom", owing to its shape.

This is the second image I attempted with this new scope.  I am pleased with the results I am getting.

Scope: Astro-Tech AT8RC Ritchey-Chretien w/ Astro-Tech field flattener

Mount: Celestron CGE

Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XT (modified)

Guide scope: Orion ST80

Guide camera: Meade DSi Pro

Exposures: 16 x 10 minutes

Image Capture: Maxim DL

Processing: Maxim (calibration, alignment, stacking, Fat Tail deconvolution); Photoshop (everything else)
