Object Information:

 



Afocal image of spectacular triple solar flare prominence. Distance between two outer flares is 10 arc degrees of the sun circumference. The length of the solar flare on the right appears to also be the same distance. Two images presented, one showing the sun with a protractor superimposed over the sun, with the prominence below. Image on the right is a separate photo.
